This whole series is a mess.
I can't believe I paid for this! Now, I'm going to give spoiler alert I will reveal major plot secret and itemise what I hate in this book. So discontinue reading if you're not interested to know.

Part 1 of the series was perfect...I was connected to the characters, invested in their love and rooting for one of the guys. I couldn't pick a preference between Cole and trace but preferred trace because he was financially secure and had opulent life...yes I'm that vain. She loved them both so she might as well be in a luxurious life. I liked book1 so much I didn't even mind the overly contemplative musings of the heroine. She went on and on about everything, analysed everything step, action, expression, I mean literally everything and this never stops. She conversed with her self over and over again that it got repetitive and downright annoying! BUT I didn't mind too much because I was still invested in the book.

That's where the love, connection and excitement ended.
Book 2&3 were a vicious repetition, the love triangle got disgusting and despite pam Goodwin writing the heroes as as alphas who didn't share, they were pu#$#ies for her. Cole and Trace Spent the entire book2&3 prooving themselves to the heroine. I hated, hated the heroine!!! Urhgg she strung the two males along; she was so selfish and got her way in everything. She was so immature and what was so disgusting was that she was such a slut that she slept with both men, claimed she loved them both, wouldn't give up and pick one. I don't know what these two male catch saw in her. So these two idiots dated her at the same time, took turns smooching her, then the ultimately lived in a house where all three of them slept on the sam, had countless threesomes together albeit without penal penetration, same difference as everything I mean everything else was done...bondage, bdsm, everything! I found the plot so disgusting that I skipped book 2 midway from 30% of book 2. Book 3 was just a no for me as it was repetitively about the 3lovers shacking up...being together and each male trying to outdo the other in sexual exploits with with the girl; either in presence of the other or continue to try to syrupily profess their undying love and devotion. Meanwhile, the heroine just lapped it all type, never choosing and repetitively professing guilt for sleeping with the two men at the same time. She was so needy that she constantly sought reassurance where the two guys like a bad movie would proceed to reassure her of how deserving of their love and devotion she was.

Oh my gosh! I've never seen a sadder pair of un-alpha males by PM.
It was a torturous read as I eye rolled, skip read through every nightmare love scenes.

The story was so threesomish that I become ambivalent to the love triangle, I couldn't care less who ended up with this sorry b#!$; of a girl!

I wanted to slap her sane and force her to make a choice...This is the first book by PM that I've disliked. I couldn't skip to the end fast enough to know which sad and sorry guy took the plunge with This psychotic girl!!!

I didn't care for this storyline at all. It had the makings of a long drawn out love triangle which seemed to go on and on forever.

Three is a War Tangled Lies Volume 3 Pam Godwin 9781975660277 Books Reviews

DON'T like the ending, in my opinion wrong guy. Hoping the RIGHT guy will get his happy ending.😯
OMG is all I can say . This is the third and last book in the series and Pam out did herself . We have Dani , Cole and Trace all in the same house again. But this time the rules are different . Dani has no say , it is time to play by the guys rules. Will she decide and will they survive each other.
This book had me sucked in from the first page . You can't help but fall for the main men in the story (team Trace all the way) . They are so well written . Co,e the brooding sexy first love . The Trace the hot sex on a stick alpha make . He is just well sigh . Dani well she does grow up in this book . I didn't really feel like I wanted to slap her . They all actually grew up in this book.
This was a fast read for me . The author has a way of pulling you in and keeping you turning pages all night . There are parts of this book that had me fanning myself . Will never look at a Wal-Mart bathroom the same way again. Read the book ladies and you will understand ., the author broke my heart and she then mended back together , just to rip it out again. This series is another hit . If you want a great read check out this series . Pam delivers again and again .
Did not like the ending at all. I figured it would happen. This series was so emotional for me. I have never read anything that affected me the way this series did. In my version in my head she does the opposite with the two men. I don't think Trace was the right one for her. He was more than possessive, commanding, bossy, didn't smile much and was not much fun. Cole on the other hand loved to live and do things with Danni. He was down to earth like Danni. But, "the heart wants what it wants." I wish I would have quit after the first book.
The first half of this installment was a painful repetition of the the 2nd book (which itself was super repetitious) in a different setting - proving there was not enough plot to drag this out into an expensive serial. Had this been trimmed down to one book, this might have been a tighter, better read. I started hating on Danni in the last book, and she only devolved in this book.

PG set herself up with a problem - she made both love experiences look so amazing, both lovers so devoted, there was never going to be a good way to resolve the relationship. Her resolution felt like she didn't know where to take it either. Maybe if there had been an underlying plot to help this story be more interesting than watching Danni vacillate between 2 men, torturing every in the process (including the reader), there could have been a more satisfying outcome. I had nothing to do with who she ended up with and everything to do with the process to get there.
This whole series is a mess.
